FAQs

CinnaBalm repels insects, soothes bites and is 100% natural

How long am I protected?

You can enjoy long lasting outdoor protection on your skin when using CinnaBalm.

Can I use this on sensitive skin?

Yes. CinnaBalm uses 100% natural ingredients (no deet, petrochemicals, aerosols, or alcohol), and the base ingredients are Beeswax and Almond Oil which are naturally hydrating and gentle on sensitive prone skin.

Why does my skin go red when I apply it?

CinnaBalm uses high quality essential oils including cinnamon oil. Cinnamon oil promotes blood flow to the area it's applied to and therefore can make your skin go red for about 10-15minutes. It may also experience a warming sensation, but rest assured it means its working! You may also experience slight tingling, this is a good sign that the cinnamon oil is working its magic to soothe bites.

Is it greasy?

No. CinnaBalm is a non-greasy formula. CinnaBalm’s base ingredient is Beeswax which quickly absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling dry, soft and smooth after application.

Is it safe for children?

Yes. CinnaBalm is safe to use on children 12 months and older. We recommend doing a patch test first before applying all over exposed skin.

I am a traveller with no fixed address, do you have stockists?

We are online with a few select stockists across Australia. We have sent many CinnaBalm products to travellers with no fixed address. Some options are arranging a parcel collect through Australia post (free) or ask a future accomodation reception desk if they would accept the parcel for you. We will work with you to ensure if arrives safely.

Does it help to soothe bites?

Yes. CinnaBalm has three bite soothing essentials oils that will quickly reduce swelling and stop the itch. These are Cinnamon, Camphor and Menthol.

Do I apply sunscreen before or after applying CinnaBalm?

We recommend applying sunscreen first and waiting 10-15minutes before applying CinnaBalm.

Can I use it as a lip balm and/or on my face?

No. We do not recommend using CinnaBalm as a lip balm as tempting as it is! We also do not recommend putting CinnaBalm on your face.

Can I use it on open wounds?

No. We do not recommend using on open wounds.

How much do I need to use for skin protection?

You will only need a small amount of CinnaBalm for long lasting protection. A little goes a long way! You can apply a 5-cent piece amount to exposed skin and rub in or dab some on your ankles, wrists, and shoulders for skin protection. If you have been bitten, dab a very small amount of CinnaBalm onto the bite and rub in gently for quick relief.

CinnaBalm does pack a punch, so it's important to be careful! Do not apply to face or eyes. Do not apply to wounds, damaged or irritated skin. For external use only.
